You don't have to go a second time.

Okay for one night, decor and wall colors ... well, it's a matter of taste, rather stylistically. The carpets urgently need to be cleaned, better removed. Food was ok, nothing special. There were no name lists as prescribed, even at the breakfast buffet almost like before Corona. A double room cost 79 euros, there was no bill / receipt.

Nice Franconian inn with classic offers, beer from the pond, you can go there; The view of the castle and the old Saale bridge is also okay

After complaints, the waitress brought the same, wrong drink twice and already used beer coasters. After that, the same waitress took up an order for drinks and food at another table, after which we said "drink first, then eat"

Great restaurant with a cozy beer garden. Quite an option to stop off comfortably on a bike tour. The absolute highlight, however, is the excellent food that is served here. I can only recommend!

Eating was nothing special. Ate champion schnitzel with croquettes. The stuff had the taste of a frozen product. I got the outer hard leaves from the green salad. Menu was very clear. Excellent salt and pepper.

I'm not sure if I really want to award 2 stars. The hotel is in the meantime absolutely getting old (a general refurbishment is urgent to go into details, would go nowhere) and actually almost an impertinence, at the price.

Quiet location despite proximity to the railway line and road. Clean room a star deduction as the drain in the shower was broken and the ventilation part in the bathroom was broken and dirty. A minus for TV only a few channels

Seems like a family business, a bit hectic when we were there, so staff seemed to be run off their feet. The evening meal was probably one of the worst cordon bleu that I have ever experienced, ex army cook perhaps? Otherwise clean, centrally located and safe bicycle parking. The outside eating area had some of the best petunias decorations that I have seen, the downside was the cigarette smoke. Good breakfast.

2 stars are perfectly okay, the rooms are clean and tidy, the food is super good and the restaurant is always full. Sure, some write something negative as well as the TV program, but that's why you do not go on holiday in the first place. For the one week the time is fine. So I can recommend it with a quiet conscience.
